Barry Jenkins sits in with WRNB’s own Dyana Williams to discuss a day in the life of Barry. First and foremost he discloses the release date of his newest motion picture “If Beale Street Could Talk”, sharing some of the more romantic and cringeworthy plots behind this film, the harsh realities of the 70’s and the universal themes related to this upcoming film. The 2017 Grammy mishap was mentioned, where the award for Best Picture was wrongly awarded then a few minutes later, found it’s way into the hands of it’s rightful owner, Mr. Jenkins. Lastly, the man wrote two screenplays in a matter of six weeks, the final question is not what can’t he do, but what is next for the great Mr. Barry Jenkins.
