Meet P. Michael Boone. He started the Jr. Barber Academy at the end of July 2018. He started it because he wanted to teach young men and young women how to cut their own hair in the community. The shop is located at 19th & Susquehanna. Also happening within the shop he is teaching the kids about health and wellness, mentoring workshop, entrepreneurship and financial literacy. Below is a clip from his appearance on the Rachael Ray Show where Allstate donated $10,000 to him. He is looking to open a bigger location
