Back in October a 13 year old girl had her set on fire by a classmate, while she waited for the bus two blocks away from the Gompers School. According to reports her classmates stood there and laughed while she was on fire. Fortunately Naveah Robinson has been awarded the “Medal of Courage” by a non profit organization called “Teach Anti-Bullying” over the weekend. Robinson was also given a free make over at the Nikki Dean Hair Studio on North 15th Street. Way to go Naveah, keep spreading your word and being brave!
