Dr. Victor Waters of St. Bernardine Medical Center says that babies, 6 months and older should receive the flu vaccine especially if they have asthma or are at risk. The CDC says that last year’s flu season was the worst in over 30 years. If you are already sick and do not have a high fever he says that you can still get the flu shot as it will shorten the life of the flu. With all the vaccines that babies already receive, would you add the flu vaccine to that list?
