For those who don’t know, Beyoncé has started a Homecoming Scholars Award Program in which every year 4 students receive scholarship money for their tuition, and it looks like this years winners are in!
Originally the scholarship was for students who attended HBCU’s, but after some consideration the BEYGood foundation thought it would be fair to extend it some our brothers and sisters who attend PWI’s.
Here are our winners:
Allana J. Barefield from Xavier University, Erin Evans from Wilberforce University, Caleb Washington from Tuskegee University, Demetrius Weaver from Bethune-Cookman University, Jordan Davis from Texas Southern University, Dartishia Mosley from Fisk University, Cletus Emokpae from Grambling State University and Kameron Willis from Morehouse College.
Now y’all know this isn’t a free ride right? The students must maintain a 3.5 GPA in order to keep the $25,000 scholarship, which seems fair! Go Bey!
