Over the weekend, Daniels helped assist at the Coke Zero 400 in Daytona, FL. Daniels would make history twice as she worked with alongside another female, making them the first duo of women to ever be working a Nascar pitstop side by side!

The position came about when Nascar’s Drive for Diversity program (a program in which Nascar looks to find people outside of its predominately white / male fanbase) paid a visit to Norfolk State. Daniels attended the school and was a star on the basketball team. After her career, she decided she would enter the program, in which all the candidates go through intense physical training to see if they can survive in the world of Nascar.

Daniels not only survived, but she graduated from the program and made history this past Saturday! We applaud you Brehanna Daniels!
