Celebrating gets better for Octavia Spencer! Spencer is celebrating her 46th birthday and also celebrating her role in a new film.
The new film titled, A Kid Like Jake, about a child with gender differences whose parents are trying to get him into a New York kindergarten. Spencer calls it “a way of opening dialogue,” and also talks about the disparity in pay faced by women of color in Hollywood.
