Jayson Williams is a former NBA player most famously known for playing with the Sixers and the Nets when they were based in New Jersey. He stopped by the Quincy Harris Morning Show and spoke candidly about the shooting death of his limo driver, his sister who died of AIDS, the broken relationship between him and his daughters and which NBA player “saved” him.

His sister, mother of 2, died of AIDS after becoming a heroin addict. At the age of 18 Jayson began raising his 2 nephews while attending St. John’s University.

His dad suffered a stroke due to the stress of Jayson’s case. The stroke caused his father to become a paraplegic. He has no relationship with his daughters due to everything involved with the case and him going to jail. He bought a home once owned by Jennifer Lopez and got extremely intoxicated after drinking large amounts of moonshine. Former New York Knick Charles Oakley went to the home and  encouraged him to get the help he needed.
