Cedric is cutting out the jokes and wants to be taken more seriously! Known as Cedric the Entertainer, Cedric changes his name to Cedric Kyles.
He wants more dramatic roles in 2018 but, maybe we will see more of him on his new comedy The Neighborhood. The series follows a white family who moves in the middle of a Black neighborhood. The series will give Cedric’s perspective from the black side and how them moving on disrupts the culture on the block.
According to the storyline, the Johnsons moved from a small town in Michigan and welcome the idea of living in a diverse community. Cedric’s character, on the other hand, is pretty outspoken and comes off as that cranky old-school uncle who will say just about anything before you have to nudge him and give him the evil eye for an his ill-timed, politically incorrect rant.
