Many people woke up at 5am on Saturday to watch the Royal Wedding between Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. Social media was buzzing with photos of the celebrities in attendance and the pictures of the bride and groom. Of course no beautiful event can happen without people questioning why other’s were interested in the Royal Wedding. As if a wedding is only permitted to be watched by white people in London. Well if you didn’t watch you missed what will go down as the Blackest Royal Wedding in HISTORY!

The is not the first royal performance for The Kingdom Choir . According to Essence, they performed at the Golden Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II, celebrating her 50 years on the throne, in 2002. That same year, they were nominated for best UK Choir at the Oasis Awards. A live recording of their performance at the Royal Wedding will eventually go on sale May 25. The choir also performed for other notables, including former President Bill Clinton, Bishop Desmond Tutu and the late Nelson Mandela. Their website crashed shortly after the royal performance. His name is Sheku Kanneh-Mason. He is 19 years old. He was suppose to make his U.S. debut this weekend but that all changed when Meghan Markle, now known as Her Royal Highness Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, called and asked him to perform at their wedding.
