We’ve been focusing on modern-day redlining and the impact it has had on potential homebuyers in Philadelphia and now we want to take the time to offer some assistance and resources to buying your first home.

The Urban League of Philadelphia is kicking off its annual Empowerment Week by partnering with the Senator Vincent Hughes Office, PNC Bank and the Enterprise Center to host a Free Home Buyer’s Housing Fair.

The fair will take place on Monday, May 7 from 5 – 7 p.m. at the Enterprise Center located at 4548 Market Street in Philadelphia. RSVP at dhill@urbanleaguephila.org or Call 215-985-3220 ext. 203 

Come with questions and we will provide the answers. There will be refreshments and door prizes.

College Possible Philadelphia is in the process of trying to win a $100K grant to help more students earn admission to college. College Possible Philadelphia makes college admission and success possible for low-income students through an intensive curriculum of coaching and support.

We all talk about how important education is for the future of our Philadelphia students, let’s add action to those talks.
