Justin Timberlake’s Superbowl performance is receiving mixed reviews, with most disappointed in the 13-minute performance.
Leading up to Timberlake’s performance, speculation around a NSYNC reuniting and even an appearance from Janet Jackson had everyone on their toes up until a day before the performance. Janet Jackson released that she would not be appearing at the halftime performance with JT and no words from NSYNC came about.
One thing Timberlake did do was a special tribute to Prince, lighting up the entire city with purple during the song. Timberlake had a hologram of Prince during the song and some weren’t feeling it, while others appreciated the homage.
Being a JT fan, I enjoyed hearing some throwback songs from him and felt he did a great job.
