In his first State of the Union address, President Trump said that with the American people, he is building a “safe, strong, and proud America.”
The President said 2.4 million new jobs have been created since the election and unemployment claims have hit a 45 year low. He said that African-American unemployment is at an all time low and that confidence in small business is at an all-time high.
Trump also highlighted the stock market gains, adding that “one record after another” has been smashed since he took office.
