We Resist. We Persist. We Rise. – Program Announced for the Women’s March on Philadelphia 2018
WHAT: The Women’s March on Philadelphia 2018 (One year anniversary event)
WHEN: Saturday, Jan. 20, 10:30 a.m.—noon (March); Noon—3 p.m. (Rally)
WHERE: Benjamin Franklin Parkway – Logan Square (March starting point); Eakins Oval (Rally location)
WHO: Philly Women Rally, the non-profit organization behind the Women’s March on Philadelphia; More than 40,000 attendees from across the Greater Philadelphia area; a dozen ordinary women selected from nearly 150 applicants to serve as speakers and performers

One year after the historic Women’s March on Philadelphia, event organizers from Philly Women Rally announced the nonprofit group will host an anniversary march with this year’s event theme being – “We Resist. We Persist. We Rise.” – focusing on telling the stories of ordinary women doing amazing things in the fight for women’s rights.
Attendees are asked to gather at Logan Square at 10:30 a.m., before marching at 11 a.m. toward Eakins Oval, where a rally will follow showcasing speakers and performers who embody the spirit of resisting, persisting and rising.
