American Idol is returning to your TV on a new network, ABC. The judges for this season are Lionel Richie, pop act Katy Perry and country singing Luke Bryan. The show will continue to be hosted by Ryan Seacrest.
The show has decided to do away with the televised “bad audition” portion of the show. In a quote from the show, they said:
The show will no longer be exploiting the beloved “bad auditions.”
“It doesn’t feel comfortable to put borderline unstable people up on stage and laugh at them”
