Marry J Blige and her soon-to-be-ex-husband Kendu Issacs set to attempt to have a  divorce settlement talk during a mandatory conference. If the two can not come to an agreement regarding who gets what of property, shared funds, etc., the case will head to trial in March 2018.

The divorce started when Mary J Blige filed for a divorce back in 2016 from her husband for 15 years, Kendu Issacs. Mary accused Kendu for spending over $400,000 of her own money on his mistress. Even though that was the reason of her filing, a judge ordered her to pay Issacs $30,000 a month in temporary spousal support.

Issacs is now asking the judge for an increase of his spousal support from $30K to $65K because he claims he has been unemployed since the release of Mary’s recent album, ‘Strength of a Woman.’ Mary has two songs on that album, which became hits, “Love Yourself” and “Set Me Free” and she speaks on the current situation between herself and Kendu. Kendu claims that Mary is bashing him in those songs and in recent interviews and this resulting him being unemployed in the music business.
