It’s the holiday season and Operation Santa is going on now in Philadelphia. But the organization needs more volunteers to make this Christmas Season a success.
Operation Santa is on a mission to help families in need that can’t give their kids the best Christmas. Kids will write a Christmas list and a letter to Santa Claus. The Volunteer’s job is to choose a letter and has the choice to either write the child back or grant the wish.
Letters to Santa from families in need are available at the Philadelphia’s Main Post Office in University City. You are able to read them from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday.
The last day to choose a letter is Friday, December 8th and gifts need to be dropped dropped off by December 13th to make sure it will be delivered before Christmas.
