A NEW SCHOOL WILL BE BUILT IN QUINCY JONES’ HONOR

In celebration of Global Day of Giving/Giving yesterday, organization In a Perfect World (IAPW) has announced that it is launching a fundraising drive to build a school in honor of industry icon Quincy Jones. To be located in a country of Jones’ choosing, the school will be erected in 2018.
IAPW has thus far built 28 schools — including two in honor of Prince — in countries such as Malawi, Mali, Senegal, Haiti and Nicaragua.
