Unfortunately, things did not work out between Jill Scott and now ex-husband Mike Dobson. Philadelphia’s own Jill Scott has filed for divorce from her husband after 18 months of marriage due to “irreconcilable differences” and “inappropriate marital conduct that such further cohabitation would be unsafe and improper,” according to her divorce petition.
“She likes to emasculate men – that’s her problem,” Dobson said to Bossip. “I told her, she’s from Philly, but I’m from New York, and if you want to try to disgrace me, try to slander me, I can fight dirty.”
According to the gossip site, Scott and Dobson have been living in separate homes since the beginning of September. Scott also reportedly is asking that a prenuptial agreement be enforced.
Dobson is Scott’s second husband after Lyzel Williams, a DJ and artist who she married in 2001 during a Hawaiian vacation. That marriage dissolved in 2007.
