For a couple in Florida, ordering a few storage bins turned into the cops coming over to solve a mystery which involved 65 pounds of marijuana.
The couple were surprised at how much the bins weighed and were shocked when they opened it and seen what was inside.
The woman who spoke to WFTV anonymously fearing for her and husband’s life stated, “We were still pretty fearful our home would be broken into, and we didn’t sleep there for a few days.”
Amazon told WFTV that its customer service team worked directly with the couple. But the couple says they never spoke with a supervisor after exchanging emails with a company representative for more than a month.
“There was no concern for a customer’s safety. I mean, this could have turned into a worst-case scenario,” one of them said.
The couple received a $150 gift card for the inconvenience but, the couple is still uncomfortable living at their home.
