American Idol judge and singer Paula Abdul will headline “Night of Wigs & Wishes” cancer fundraiser in Camden County.
The fundraiser was founded by Martino Cartier and made to raise awareness and money for Friends Are By Your Side, which provides complimentary wigs for women as well as grant wishes and wigs for children fighting cancer.
“Wigs & Wishes is special for me,” Abdul said in a statement, “and I look forward to this event every year. If we can help adults and children feel better and look better while they fight a courageous battle against cancer, we are meeting the most fundamental responsibility we have — helping others.
The line-up for the fundraiser includes Sal Valentinetti, actor Bigtime Tommie Romola, professional boxer Damon Allen, fitness model John Antorino, Bobby Ciasulli and pop-artist Nicolosi. The event will be Sunday, October 22nd from 5pm-11pm.
