A 7.1 magnitude earthquake hit Mexico yesterday and killed over 200 individuals as building collapsed.
“The priority now is continue rescuing those who are still trapped and provide medical attention to the injured,” President Enrique Peña Nieto said. The president continued and called the earthquake in Mexico “a new national emergency.”
The earthquake turned dozen of buildings in Mexico City into simply dust and debris.
“Unfortunately many people have lost their lives, including girls and boys in schools, buildings and houses. I want to express my condolences to those who lost a family member or a loved one. Mexico shares your grief,” Peña Nieto said.
This is very devastating to Mexico and we are praying for those families effected by the aftermath.
