A concert film and documentary featuring iconic hip-hop duo Eric B. & Rakim is in the works thanks to a collaboration between Russell Simmons’ media brand All Def Digital.
The Eric B. & Rakim reunion concert took place on July 7 at Harlem’s legendary Apollo theater on the 30th anniversary of their platinum album Paid in Full. The renowned DJ and MC hadn’t performed together in 20 years. The show also featured a number of cameos by luminaries that included: Ice T, Mase, Michael Bivins, Flavor Flav, Fat Joe, EPMD, Roxanne Shanté, T La Rock, Al B. Sure!, Slick Rick, Kid Capri, Kool Herc, Rich Boy, Special Ed, Lost Boyz among others.
