Donnell and Vicki got married in their mid twenties and had 3 kids over the course of their 20 year relationship. While they had love for each other somewhere along the line they became distant and Vicki filed for divorce citing irreconcilable differences. Throughout the years Donnell was the one who mostly looked after the kids due to Vicki working long hours as a high powered attorney. While Donnell does work in a call center and recently got his college degree at age 46, he doesn’t make a fourth of the money Vicki brings in and feels he deserves spousal support since Vicki pulled the plug on their marriage.
Some of his friends say he deserves support to keep the lifestyle he had when they were together, but many say he should just move on and be a man about it. Tonight we’re asking, should Donnell be ashamed about asking for alimony from his wealthy wife, or should he be proud to go for what the law says he’s entitled to?
