Glamour Hosts 'A Brighter Future: A Global Conversation on Girls' Education' With First Lady Michelle Obama

In February during Work with Karen its Black HER-Story Month where we are celebrating Black History month with #SheFacts of female trailblazers.

Why We Love Her: Michelle Obama This classy women was such a gracious first lady and accomplished a lot alongside her husband President Obama. Everything this iconic lady did was with so much style, fun and elegance.

Stats: Born January 17, 1964 in Chicago. She attended Princeton University, graduating cum laude in 1985. She then furthered her education at Harvard Law School and received her Law degree in 1988.

Ladies First: First African American First Lady of the United States. First digital First Lady.

Impact: As first lady, she focused her attention on current social issues. Creating platforms like Let’s Move,  which battled childhood obesity, such as poverty, healthy living and education.
