Radio One gathered the best of the best in different cities across the nation to honor during the 47th Annual NAACP Awards weekend to show our appreciate to innovative leaders deemed “Hometown Champions” in our communities. Philadelphia crowned Rashaad Lambert (Marketing Consultant,Educator, Mentor, Philanthropist) a hero.
“We have this thankless job, so for someone to recognize what I am doing, it just makes me feel appreciated. I started my non-profit because I could have been on the other side of that table, and it motivated me to help make people become more productive members of society, because that’s what makes up flourish, and the more we help those less fortunate, they become more productive members of society, and helps us all stay afloat.” Rashaad Lambert
