Lisa Bonet Denies Bill Cosby Tweet
Over the weekend, a cryptic tweet surfaced on a Twitter account that appeared to be linked to former “The Cosby Show” star Lisa Bonet. “According to the karma of past actions, one’s destiny unfolds, even though everyone wants to be so lucky. Nothing stays in the dark 4ever!,” it read. Fans immediately thought she was talking about Bill Cosby.
Bonet, who rarely partakes in publicity stunt, denies having anything to do with the message and we totally believe her.
Lisa’s rep released this statement, “Lisa Bonet has no social media of any kind. Any posts made in her name were made by impersonators with unverified accounts. She also has no comment on the ongoing story.”
Bonet’s former “Cosby” costar Raven Symone was also dragged into the headlines, when she responded to rumor that Cosby had taken sexual advantage of her as well.
“I was NOT taking (sic) advantage of by Mr. Cosby when I was on the ‘Cosby Show’! I was practically a baby on that show and this is truly a disgusting rumor that I want no part of! Everyone on that show treated me with nothing but kindness. Now keep me out of this!,” she wrote on Instagram.
