30-year-old Ashley Tull of Delaware was brought into custody yesterday and is being charged with Maintaining a Drug Property and three counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Child.
Tull’s 4-year-old daughter arrived at the Hickory Tree Child Care Center like normal. After she arrived she began to hand out packets of what she believed was candy to her pees. When the daycare workers noticed a few children with small packets they contacted authorities.
Once the Police Department arrived around 11:45 a.m and removed the white powdery substance from the daycare. They arrived at the Police Station were the unknown substance was tested and then determined to be heroin.
The 4-year-old had a total of 249 bags of heroin in her backpack. The 4-year-old was given this book bag by her mother because her book bag was destroyed by a family pet throughout the night.
Tull has been released after posting $6,000 secured bond.
