NBC News announced today, Monday, September 15th, that Sheinelle Jones, formerly of WTXF Fox 29 in Philly, will become the new weekend news anchor on NBC’s Today Show Weekend. Sheinelle will replace Jenna Wolfe, who is moving to the daily Today Show as their first ever Lifestyle and Fitness correspondent. Those of you with long memories will recall that Ms. Wolfe also spent time at Philly’s Fox 29 a few years back. Congratulations to Sheinelle, a longtime Philly favorite and a friend of Old School 100.3. Sheinelle will join the program for the October 4th broadcast.
