Temple University is certainly doing its share of trailblazing. A few weeks ago we learned that their researchers have found a way to “kill” the HIV virus, now the university announces that incoming student have the “option” of submitting test scores for admission. Potential students now have the opportunity to answer essay questions which can show a student’s potential for success in college. It’s about time some university realizes how biased and unreasonable the SATs are. Standardized tests are not a great indicator of success in university level education, but most of us have known this for years. Way to go Temple!
