Grammy-winner Anita Baker is in the clear now that the bench warrant has been dismissed by a Wayne County judge in an emergency hearing. Baker admits that she didn’t pay the painting company the remaining $15,000 balance because the job was not completed. The USA Today report said the lawsuit was filed in 2011 by Ray A Smith Painting & Decorating.
A court date has been set for April 4, 2014.
