Steven and Emily Asher celebrated their union by holding their wedding reception underneath the Golden Arches. That’s right, the young couple and their 33 guest indulged in burgers and fries at their local McDonald’s branch. The happy couple describes their day as being the happiest day of their lives. The love birds arrived for their big bash in a stretch limo before the 28-year-old groom washed down a Crispy Chicken meal with a strawberry milkshake and 21-year-old bride, toasted their union with a large Coke.
The husband and wife told reporters they shared some wonderful courting moments at McDonald’s and couldn’t think of a better place to celebrate their new union

“When I saw Emily in her dress for the first time I couldn’t believe my eyes, she looked absolutely beautiful,” said the proud groom.
“We were both shaking throughout the ceremony, we were so nervous, but it was a great day and everyone seemed to find our reception at McDonalds really interesting.”
Emily added: “It was an amazing day. I did get quite a few people staring at me in McDonald’s but I didn’t care – it was my big day and I was there to enjoy myself.”
