HARRAH’S CASINO IN CHESTER- CASHIER 3

Responsible for all cash service needs of our casino customers, (both external and internal) while maintaining appropriate accountability for inventory. Delivers truly great customer service while performing transactions such as ticket/voucher redemptions, check cashing, generic reel reward transactions, and promotional transactions.  Servicing all of our customer, (both internal and external), cash needs.

Customer Service: Provides prompt, friendly, and courteous service to all customers, (both external and internal) while following company and gaming regulations. Conducts all transactions in a confidential manner.

Technical Proficiency

Money Handling: Performs all types of money-handling functions.

External Customers:

Redemption of ticket/voucher, traveler’s check cashing, personal check cashing, generic reel reward transactions, promotional transactions and any other services that may be offered in the future.

Internal Customers:

Paying jackpots, issuing department banks, selling change and currency as needed to all departments.

Cashiers are here for servicing our customers, (both external and internal) cash needs. Able to balance money and paperwork to reconcile banks.

Able to order currency from main bankers to refill drawer.

Able to processes fund transactions for the cashiering department with other casino personnel.

Able to perform all transactions as per policies and procedures under surveillance.

Regulatory Compliance: Must be willing to learn, understand and adhere to all Title 31 requirements for reporting, record keeping and cash handling procedures for MIL’s, MTL’s, CTR’s and SARC’s.

Record Maintenance/Processing: Processes transactions. Records information regarding transactions on reports and forms. Maintains internal controls with reports describing errors and discrepancies.

Qualifications:

Requirements: Must have a high school diploma or GED Must be at least 21 years of age

  • Must present a well-groomed appearance
  • Must demonstrate the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide without the use of a calculator
  • One year previous United States currency money handling work experience preferred
  • Must read, write, speak, and understand English
  • Must be willing to serve customers, (both external and internal) from a variety of backgrounds
  • Must be willing to work nights, weekends, and holidays and work overtime
  • Able to pass mandated regulation and department testing
  • Must be physically mobile with reasonable accommodation
  • Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. (e.g., coins, drawer inserts, BV’s etc.) throughout their shift
  • Able to stand, walk, stoop, talk, hear, and reach at least 2 feet across a counter throughout their shift
  • Must have the manual dexterity and coordination to operate office equipment (including computers, currency counters, and 10 keys), handle currency, coins, and keys.
  • Must have good close and medium range vision with the ability to distinguish between colors
  • Able to tolerate areas containing secondary smoke, high noise levels, bright lights, and dust
  • Able to work at a fast pace in mentally and physically stressful situations
  • Able to walk and remain standing for 8 to 10 hours with breaks
  • Able to safely push or pull a cashier cart when fully loaded
  • Able to differentiate between various denominations of currency and coin.
  • Must maintain professional composure in all situations (e.g., demanding or angry customers and during periods of high business volume)

Is able to work in smoke filled environment, and is able to sit and stand for prolonged periods of time. 

Must be able to obtain a Gaming license through the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania

ZIPCAR MARKETING MANAGER-

Collaborates with home office and General Manager on overall marketing strategy and overall progress

Prepares and manages annual budget with General Manager in accordance with media plan to achieve marketing goals

Lead the local market team in reaching the member acquisition goals

Orchestrates sponsorships, partnerships, events, promotions and advertising to increase visibility of Zipcar in the community

Manages Marketing Coordinator who oversees day-to-day activities, scheduling and execution of the Street Team. Actively recruits, hires and motivates Street Team staff and monitors results

Location specific growth planning and execution and identifies overall growth opportunities

Interface with local government agencies to integrate Zipcar with public transportation systems

Performs detailed planning, execution and reporting of marketing initiatives, maximizing ROI

Oversees and manages local social media

Qualifications:

3 years prior marketing management experience, 5 years marketing experience

Budget preparation and variance analysis

Prior experience creating, executing and tracking a marketing plan

Local Philadelphia market knowledge a must

Social media experience

Four year college degree in marketing or a related field

Prior management experience

Event marketing experience, preferred

Good computer skills, MS Office proficiency
