Election 2012 is on the way and we’ve got some things we think you should know!
PA Registration Details:
- Deadline to Register: October 9, 2012 [same day registration is not allowed in Pa]
- Election Day: November 6, 2012
- You can get Registration forms in the following locations: Download online; liquor stores; libraries
- You can register in person at multiple locations: PennDOT License Centers; Centers for Independent Living; Armed Forces Recruitment Centers; Area Agencies on Aging; and many others
Voter Registration Eligibility:
- Must be a US citizen for at least one month
- Must be a Pa resident for at least 30 days
- Must be 18 years of age at time of election
Other PA Election Details:
- Pa does not allow early voting, but you can vote via absentee ballot if you will not be in the state during elections
- College students can vote at home or at school
