The Jerry Sandusky sex abuse trial took a turn when Sandusky’s adopted son told prosecutors would testify against the former Penn State football coach. Matt Sandusky claims his father sexually abused him, recanting on his original statements defending Jerry Sandusky. Sources close to the case say that Matt Sandusky would only be called into court as a rebuttal witness if Jerry Sandusky took the stand. If there is no verdict by today the jury will work throughout the weekend.  He could be convicted of 48 counts of sex abuse against 10 boys and would likely spent the remainder of his life in prison.
