According to MTV, The Mary J. Blige & Steve Stoute Foundation for the Advancement of Women Now, a charity organization run by the iconic songstress & well-respected entrepreneur, is under fire after missing loan payments, failing to pay royalties and neglecting to file taxes.
According to TMZ, the charity took a $250,000 loan to cover expenses with an agreement to repay the total in full by December 2011. Come December, it had only returned $368.33 on the six-figure total! WOW!!!
“The Mary J. Blige and Steve Stoute Foundation for the Advancement of Women Now, Inc. (FFAWN), is presently transitioning its management and headquarters,” said a rep for Blige in short statement.
