Broadcast Legend Hal Jackson Passes At Age 96

The legendary voice of New York’s WBLS, has died at the age of 96 due to illness.
WBLS released a statement expressing their sadness at the loss of the radio pioneer.
“Jackson was a popular radio and television personality and one of the most respected men in the communications industry.
As a radio pioneer, Jackson experienced many “firsts” that have assisted in opening doors for other aspiring Black broadcasters, musicians and performers.”
He will truley be missed! RIP
