President Barack Obama announced that the remaining troops stationed in Iraq will be making the trip home for good at year’s end. After nearly nine years troops will finally make the journey home and America’s war in Iraq will be over.
Presently 39,000 U.S. troops are in Iraq, but 150 will remain to assist in arms sales. U.S. troops have already started the drawdown and they will continue until all troops are out of Iraq.
