In light of the anniversary of 9/11/01, the latest terror threats, hurricanes and earthquakes my staff and I decided this edition of The Hype, a TV show I produce, will focus on remembering 911 and preparing people for natural and man made disasters.

SIHLE TV features videos of the young ladies who participate in the Philadelphia SIHLE Project, a program of Public Health Management Corporation (PHMC). SIHLE means Sisters Informing Healing Living & Empowering, a healthy lifestyle/ sexual health workshop for Black girls ages 14 to 18. The videos are episodes of their TV show “The Hype,” a program that gives the young ladies a platform to discuss issues that effect them. There are SIHLE programs all over the country but this program focuses on the activities in Philadelphia, Pa. Funding for SIHLE is provided by The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

Check out the latest episode of “The Hype: Remembering 911” where the ladies reflect on the 10th Anniversary of a day none of us will ever forget and discuss ways we all can prapare for a nautural or man made disaster. Please watch and share this video with friends and support the healthy lifestyle movement!
