These cookies are very easy to make vegan versions of! The trick is “rolling the dough very, very thin” to make sure they’re crisp when they come out of the oven. All you need is whole wheat flower, soymilk, molasses, baking soda, cinnamon, ginger and sugar!

Vegan Eggnog (

Didn’t think it could be possible? Well, it is! This recipe is great because it resembles the thickness of traditional eggnog. Adding alcohol to your nog? Here’s a tip: be aware that the flavor comes through much more strongly in this lower-fat nog, so start with the smaller amount called for and add more to taste.

Vegan Fruitcake (

A lot of people cringe at the thought of a fruitcake from traumatic childhood memories of a brick of sugar, eggs, flower and stale fruit. This recipe is a great lighter vegan alternative, and it’s fresh!

Vegan Hot Chocolate (

Luckily pure cocoa is 100% vegan already! Just look at the ingredients and make sure milk was not added to the powder. Hershey’s is a fine brand to use. Just replace the milk with a non-dairy alternative like soy milk or almond milk. This recipe has a nice hot twist to it that involved cayenne pepper!
