BREAKROOM BLOG: PRES. BUSH WIPES HIS HAND ON PRES. CLINTON'S SHIRT AFTER SHAKING HANDS!

So,  former United States president George W. Bush was in Haiti, meeting and greeting survivor’s of Januarys horrific earthquake. At one point in time, Bush is seen shaking the hand of survivors, what happened next is baffling. It looks like Bush was giving Clinton a shoulder pat, but the pat soon turned to a wipe! What?! He wiped his hands on Clinton’s shirt walked away…

The visuals just look bad – an American President shaking hands with a crowd of Haitians, then getting something he deems ‘icky’ and wiping it on the shirt of another American President. And since it was Bush, it calls to mind the quote from his mother, Barbara Bush, after Katrina: “So many of the people in the arena here, you know, were underprivileged anyway, so this–this (she chuckles slightly) is working very well for them.”
