Philly native, Meek Mill is doing more to give back to his community. According to TMZ, the rapper is teaming up with Puma and Roc Nation to renovate and repaint a basketball court at East Fairmont Park in North Philly. “North Philly will always be home. When kids go to East Fairmount Park, they deserve to ball in the best conditions possible, so I’m glad they’ll have that opportunity now,” Meek told TMZ.

In other, Meek news, it’s reported that he will be starring in a new movie!

Deadline initially reported that the Philly rapper notched a role in the Angel Manuel Soto-directed 12 O’Clock Boys. The silver screen project is adapted from Lotfy Nathan’s 2013 documentary that followed around a community of bikers in the Baltimore area.

The 31-year-old will reportedly star alongside Teyonah Parris, Jahi Winston, and Will Catlett, and has been cast in the role of a rugged biker gang leader, which is known around Baltimore as the Midnight Clique. The motion picture is produced in combination by Sony and Overbrook Entertainment. (billborad)
