Two man ran a woman over with their car after stealing $75K from her.
The woman had just made a $75K bank withdrawal. The muggers followed her to a near by gas station, pulled up on her, and snatched her purse. The woman’s husband came running out of the gas station store to help her, but he is also attacked. At one point another vehicle pulls up and a second thief hops out and aids in the attack before getting back in the car and running the couple over. The woman was taken to the hospital in critical condition.
Police have taken David Dowell Mitchell into custody for aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon. They are currently looking for the second suspect.
