Joe Jackson, the father and former manager of the Jackson 5, recently passed away. His daughter, Janet, paid homage to her father during her Impact Award Speech, at the 2018 Radio Disney Music Awards. She said, he drove her to be the best that she can.
Despite her father’s death, last week, Janet is not cancelling her Essence Music Festival appearance coming up this Sunday in New Orleans. Janet also has August shows on her ‘State of the World’ tour that she’s not cancelling either. The singer recently posted a video on Instagram thanking fans for their support during this hard time.
