Mariah Carey is moving on and making some extra cash.
The diva recently unloaded some unwanted emotional baggage to the tune of $2.1 million. According to Page Six, Carey sold her 35 carat diamond engagement ring, given to her by ex-boyfriend, James Packer in 2016. The rock is reportedly worth $10 million, so the undisclosed LA jeweler, who nabbed the diamond, got one heck of a deal.
“Mariah has been very vocal recently about her choice to move forward in her life surrounded by positivity. That requires leaving emotional and material baggage behind, including an old engagement ring from an ex-boyfriend.” Mariah’s publicist told Page Six.
Moving on is a beautiful thing. Moving on with an extra $2 million, even better!
