Co-lead singer and founder of legendary funk/R&B band Heatwave, Keith Edward Wilder has passed away this past weekend in Atlanta. There’s no reports of cause of death but Wilder was 68 years old.

Heatwave was known for their debut album that was released in 1976 titled, Too Hot To Handle, which features the hits “Boogie Nights, “Ain’t No Half Steppin” and their classic “Always and Forever.”

The Roots drummer Questlove paid homage on Instagram after the news broke.
