The Denver Bronco’s defeating the Carolina Panthers wasn’t the only beat down going on last Sunday. Apparently, former Philadelphia Eagles running back LeSean McCoy and another ex-NFL player got into an argument with three off-duty cops over champagne at the Recess Lounge in Old City Philadelphia, which ended with two of the officers in the hospital.

According to sources, the three officers had purchased four bottles of champagne shortly before the altercation. A nightclub patron tried to claim one bottle and got into a shoving match with him, leading to an all-out fight.

McCoy, now with the Buffalo Bills, and three other friends allegedly assaulted the officers – including a sergeant – in a dispute over a bottle of champagne, according to police records.

After the brawl in old city, one cop was sent to Hahnemann University Hospital with a possible skull fracture, while another ended up at Delaware County Memorial Hospital, where he was treated a broken nose, broken rib, an eye laceration and a sprained thumb, according to the report.

No reports if McCoy and friends were injured. No one was arrested but police are still investigating the tragic incident. Police are seeking arrest warrants.

Come on now LeSean!
