Jersey Police Officer Arrested For Buying Drugs

A police officer from Gloucester Township, New Jersey was arrested Tuesday for allegedly buying pain killers from a police informant. According to authorities Officer Tom Eden bought Percocet and Oxycotin while on duty and in uniform driving a marked police car.
Eden was charged with drug possession, a weapons charge and intent to distribute. He was suspended without pay with intent to dismiss.
