Sandusky Waives Hearing
Sandusky Waives Hearing; Case To Trial: MyFoxPHILLY.com
Former Penn Sate asistant football coach, Jerry Sandusky waived his preliminary hearing. This decision leads him toward a trial on charges of child sex abuse. At the hearing the prosecutors must show that they have probable cause to bring the case to trial. Sandusky has denied the allegations, which led to the departures of longtime Penn State football coach Joe Paterno and the university president. Senior Deputy Attorney General E. Marc Costanzo says there has been no discussion about a plea bargain. Sandusky remains under house arrest until his next cour appearance January 11th.
