Derrick Sampson
Hailing from South Philadelphia, Derrick Sampson had the passion and drive for the radio industry at an early age. After being selected as a contestant on a game show for 100.3 The Beat, Derrick took his interest in radio to new heights after acquiring an internship with Radio-One. Throughout his practicum, he fell in love with the inner workings of radio and was determined to make it a career. Graduating with a degree in marketing from CCP, Derrick was able to broaden his abilities and knowledge of the field, starting as a promotions assistant, and working his way to becoming a producer. Derrick currently co-hosts and produces the award winning show “Soulful Sunday" with Dyana Williams, establishing a loyal following and entertaining his listeners with his and charming and witty personality.
